Honestly the only Playstation games I play are RPGs, so some good ones that you don't have listed -
FF IX
Star Ocean: Second Story
Dragon Quest VIII
Lunar: Silver Star Story
Past those, other people will have to help. Edit: oh, I forgot I do play the GTA games.

Xenosaga, xenogears, some of Atlus's or Nippon Ichi's games. DQ8 is good too. Suikoden III isn't too bad.

Devil May Cry 3 was a very enjoyable game experience. Oh, I almost forgot about Shadow of the Colossus. It's a nice change of pace from your typical game.

If you're going to get DMC 3 go for 1 first. Far better...
Also...
Any of the Shin Megami Tensei series are great games. Specially the Persona games.

I've not really played it myself, but it is of far less quality than 1,3, and 4

DMC1 was marred by horrid controls and camera angles. Though still annoying in later installments, it was nowhere near as retarded as in DMC1. DMC3 is clearly the best of all.
Oh and btw: Jak and Daxter > Ratchet and Clank.

Silent Hill 2 and 4 (the others aren't quite as good, still better than Resi) and Project Zero, good if you get bored of RPGs and want some good survival horrors.
Agree with FF7, would definately suggest 8 and 9 as well. Also agree with the person suggesting Xenosaga.
The Crash Bandicoot series was amazing, look into any one of those games and you'll find something to love in each one. Also Spyro the Dragon.

How much does FF7 on disc go for these days? I would imagine it must have dropped since it hit the PSN store for 10 dollars.
